As I said in another forum, great to see ubb.threads alive again!

A suggestion/semi-question, and that's will it be possible to choose between menus and more standard types of navigation? In particular 'Forum Options' could potentially be trouble as it's not obvious how someone starts a new topic -- they have to know to click that drop down list to find the option. I'm a firm beliver in KiSS, and having the link in plain view on threads 6 is more straight forward.

Also on an unrelated note, it's a good list of new things in threads 7. But will there be general bug fixing too? The number one complaint from my users is the erratic post tracking, so will things like that be improved?

When we do our images we do plan on having images for new post and new topic. Those are frequently used and will not only be in the dropdown but will probably be above the menu as well.

As for general bug fixing. Most definitely. Version 6 was built upon over several years. Features piled on top of features and some of them didn't work all that great, but couldn't be fixed without a major rewrite. That's what version 7 was, it's basically a complete rewrite of the front end code. So, if there is a bug or a flaw in the design or a feature doesn't work as it should be it will be much easier to fix.
