Where can find the file to change the highlight color of the unread posts? I am using the Sunny_Drop shaow and the color I want to change is FFAA00.

This is all done through the style editor in the control panel.

That is where I went to make the change but saw no reference to that color or the highlight under "Forum Summary Properties"

Well, are you talking the "new" item to the top left that is yellow on black? in that case, it's an image: images/general/default/new.gif
What i'm thinking you're meaning is the cell highlight on the forum list which shows new posts in a thread in a differant color; if this is it, then it's the "Forum Summary Properties" properties (see new-) in the style editor. This item is only in 7.2 and newer releases.

Yes, that is what I am referring to. The new posts where every other new post is highlighted. I have looked in there and do not see the dark color that highlights the every-other new post/reply. What am I missing?

Well, in 7.2 it just imports the standard colors; it doesn't offset automatically; you'll need to adjust the "alternate", "new" and "new alternate" colors based on what you want to use.
