Here's a strange one...

I co-admin a board and just received an email from the main administrator that a "sticky" topic regarding the forum founder (who passed away last October) has disappeared. This is a very significant topic and we would very much like to restore it.

I have the original classic files from the import and we still have the topic file from back in late April when the forums were upgraded.

Is there any way we can import this single topic into threads?

Try searching for it,
this can happen after a import from classic that the sticky topics go missing. There still there just at there last post date.

I moved all sticky topics to a temp forum before importing after a test import showed this.

So do a search,
find the topic - make it unsticky and then make it sticky
you will find it goes to where you expected.

Actually the topic came through fine when we imported, it has just "disappeared". However it may have been deleted by the widow or the children of the deceased founder. We don't know yet for sure.

If that isn't the case and it was just a quirk, we would like to attempt to re-import that single topic from the classic archive into the 7.1.1 threads system.

Is this possible?

I'd really like this functionality too!
