I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but what about being able to create a custom island out of a poll?

I'd love to have a poll in a custom island. I've seen a few sites do that - like IGN's weekly poll.

IIRC, there was a discussion on this here some time ago, I don't remember why this didn't get in, but it was something to do with how polls functioned and needed more time to be looked at
