Hi,

Is there a way to customize the UBB Error message users see before they log in? I would like to replace "UBB Error - "There are no forums for you to view" with something friendlier like "Please log in to view forums"

Yep, you can edit the cfrm language file in the control panel. In there you'll find the text string for that and you can change it to whatever you want.

Just an FYI. If you know the language string you want to change, you can search for it in the Languages section of the control panel, and that will let you know what file to edit.

Control Panel / Languages / Language Editor / Choose Specific Language File: cfrm.php / Go

The second line reads NO_FORUMS - There are no forums for you to view. You can change this to whatever you want.

Just remember that if you do an upgrade and overwrite that file ( /your_forum_directory/languages/english/cfrm.php ) you will have to edit your own info back in as above.
