In /admin/doapproveposts.php there is no code to sent mail to users who have that forum/topic on their watchlist. It is in /scripts/approvepost.inc.php

In the control panel version there is an admin log entry made, in the "edit post and approve" version, it's not made.

Yeah, I noticed that when I rewrote the notifications for 7.3, so this should be fixed assuming SirDude didn't break it

lol i had to fix that part actually. watches were DOA for a bit there wink something about $result['WATCH_TYPE'] kinda not existing..

so blaaask Yarp, you can now consider it good to go in 7.3

yah i went thru and re-tested all the watch notifications after i fixed the routine. at first the emails themselves had some faulty templates, because of the new way we do language files (don't worry blaaask, it's a good -- new way) wink

after that all notifications get sent as they should.

matter of fact, this was the first time I'VE used them and it was only because i had to test them..

Just curious if one point is taken up that I reported here a while back, the fact that some language specific texts are put in as hard html instead of presenting it dynamic in the users own language (url)

mr Spence had that one covered before i got there. he included the user's language in the select query.
