Hi, there is a university professor that is a moderator on one of my forums and she would like to send out a mass message requesting volunteers for a study her graduate students are conducting. Is there a way to send a mass private message using 7.2? How about a mass email?

I would go for mass pm if you really want it. Sending it out through mail could cause some users marking it as spam, and might get you listed on spam blacklists. Users in general don't like unsolliceted mail.

But out of the box, individual mass PM's is not available in ubb.threads.

A small question from my side, if you want everyone to see it, why not just open a public topic?

She did post a public appeal last year but she barely got enough participants to complete their study. This year her program has expanded so she needs even more participants. She thought that if she contacted them personally they would be more inclined to join in.

I have an email question, Why is it people are not recieving my emails when i send them. They did change the default to yes and still recieve nothing. But is says that they were emailed?
