UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Updating images

I'm a mod at a stock trading site that runs Version 7.2.2. Is there a way to post an image that updates through out the day, week, month. Example: We post a lot of stock charts, Stock charts update through out the day to show movement of the stocks.I can do a still pic by posting in a gallery by adding an image, but obviously that won't update. I have tried img tags as well as image tags but am having no luck. Is it even possible to do this with UBB.threads?? If so how?

totally doable. as a matter of fact, my signature is a rotating image script (random).

the same principle can be applied to your case, with the script choosing which image to send back to ubbthreads when summoned.

Agreed with SD; PHP is a very powerful/scaleable language, which would allow you to do precisely what you want to do (most likely as a sidebar item, or an external php page rolling out a new image like in SD's signature)

Thanks to both of you for your reply. I will have to relay your info to the admin of our site, for I am but a mere two weeks old to the world of ubb.threads, and this quite frankly sounds a bit out of my league. I was hoping I could use a different tag or something as simple as that lol. Thanks again guys!
