Well I'm not even going to think about downloading a 695MB file on dial-up so I can't tell you if it works or not.

Well you don't have to download the whole thing.
Just click on the link to verify if it actually starts to download as a binary file and not text - then cancel the download.

With IE7 it loads the browser with text.
With Firefox it downloads the file: 1852185.divx

I still have mashed potatoes on my pants from cooking last night lol... It rarely happens - but I'm lost for words.. Oh - hang on, re-reading the quote, it says 'on' my pants - first time around I read it as 'in' my pants

My TVs are not working! Or more precisely my satellite receivers are not working.
Both boxes are giving the same error - "no signal being received".
Coincidentally, we've just had new carpets laid. I wonder if the new carpets static charge blew the lnb's at the same time.
Our cable tv is fine!
Anyone ever encountered this sort of anomaly?

ermmmm - after looking at DigitalSPy - I think I mean SkyMultiroom.
BTW - what are the benefits of Sky+ ? Is it the 'recording' feature - or is/are there more...?

Sky+ allows you to pause, rewind live programs - as well as recording on the HD.
We do not have multi-room - honestly do not think it is worth it. I think it costs another tenner a month.
If I wanted sky in another room, I would buy a sender and receiver from somewhere like Maplins that will send the signal from the cable going to the Plasma to another TV(s) in the house.
I can't see a time when we would want to watch another channel live at another time - if we wish to watch something else, we just record it and watch it another time.

1) Yep £65 - but that's Sunday or not!
2) Good question. We have Sky because it's a good package and I have to have it for family entertainment.
We've got quite a decent package so that anyone can watch... all the entertainment channels, sports, cartoons for the kids, history & documentaries for the boring old fart (me!) and movies - why am I paying for movies? I don't know. We always like to go to the cinema for that! [note - must look into this...]
Man! Did you see Mission Impossible 3? If ever there was a movie made for the cinema - that was it! It does NOT come across the same way on TV.
...but I digress.
Sky "for the family".
The cable is because I get (work) telephone and (work) internet paid for by 'work' and we get a basic tv package for free, so for an extra few bob I can get TV in the boys room for not too much more.

Not following you there Giz... We had Sky (a satellite package) installed maybe five+ years ago. Never had a days problem with it. Then I got these new carpets laid and suddenly I blew up two receivers and dishes. (One was Sky the other was HotBird.) Today the contractor called (private company employed by Sky) and I got new lnb, box and allignment for £65. Bargain!

Service Calls are when the satelite or cable company need to come out to do something miniscule... We generally don't have to pay for them (unless theres some major repair work that's needed to be done).
