I am at the "Updating database to version: 7.2.2 If at any time this step times out you may just refresh this screen and it will continue" step of upgrading to 7.2.2 with nothing further happening for about 30 minutes.
It still seems to be doing something, but this is all that I see on my browser.
Does anybody know how long I need to wait for what I understand is the final step? Should I hit "Refresh/Reload"?
I would appreciate some assistance.

On the bottom of the browser it says it is "Transferring data from" my website, however, it's been saying that now for the past 30 minutes.

I discovered that the problem was that I ran out of space to complete the last step, however, my provider is doubling the space for me so I can complete the upgrade.
Once I receive the extra space, will I need to refreah it, or restart the upgrade?

They doubled my space, however, I had to hit stop and then reload on my browser in order to continue with the last step of the upgrade.
It seems to be working, however, I hope that doesn't mess things up.

I had to stop the last step manually.
After checking things over things seem to be working OK, however, I have way too much space taken up, therefore, I did a check and discovered three MYSQL files that I think can be deleted:
#sql-1888_9300.MYD #sql-1888_9300.MYI #sql-1888_9300.frm
As I think they are some sort of back-up or something in relaiton to the upgrade, is it OK for me to delete these three files?

Those look like files that mysql server made while in the process of completing an operation. Would it hurt to leave them a little while to see if the operation is still in process? As you stopped the last step manually (assuming just by hitting stop from your browser) the process attached to them MIGHT be done, but there is an equal probability that you stopped the PHP process but the MySQL process is still going. Deleting these files, if that is true, is a bad idea.
Leave them for a while if you can.

I am able to access my forum.
If everything works, does that mean that I am OK without those files?

By the way, I stopped the upgrade about an hour ago.

Everything seems to be working OK there form the control panel to test topics, posts, and replies, therefore, I think I feel sdafe enough to ask them to delete those three files.

According to MyAdminPHP, it also seems that the process did stop in the sense of it being completed.

if SHOW PROCESSLIST shows nothing going on then there's nothing attached to those files.
Still, I'd err in the way of caution and rename them or move them aside, make sure nothing breaks, then delete them.

They had already deleted them for me, however, everything still seems to be working OK.
