UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums Resources and Customizing Admin Zone Help - Skype is changing all my forum dates to phone numbers!

Hi everyone,

This is a bit of a strange question I suppose (and I'm not exactly sure if this is the best place to put it...). I've just noticed today that the dates on my forums are coming up as Skype icons. I'm not sure how to get rid of them. I presume Skype has some new kind of 'scan and replace' system where they look for things that look like phone numbers on line and change them into Skype icons. I definitely did not ask Skype to do this, and I'm not sure how to remove the distracting, unnecessary icons and revert the dates back to normal formatting.

I've already tried to change the formatting of the dates on my forums but this has not made any difference.

Can anyone help me with this? Would appreciate any advice.

Can't say I have heard of this - did you find any info on Skype's site or linked forums.

I avoid Skype like the plague I am afraid - much prefer VOIP which is a true system, rather than the closed system of Skype.

Afraid this issue needs to be raised with them; as the UBB has nothing to do with Skype.
