I’m only using the right column on my page and I’m looking for a way to lock each Island in that column to 250px. Any one have any ideas for me on this. Sorry I’m kind of new to UBB.

You could just use a table set to 250px, around the code for the portal Island.

A table... blasphemy wink

Finding and setting the correct CSS would be the best choice now days wouldn't it?

For the benefit of anyone who does not kow how to do it, surely tables are the easiest solution.

Not easily as I think some of the items are built on the fly from PHP and with thousands of files and not being intimate with all that code that has been growing for 10 years

In general though just a DIV within a DIV can control quite a bit.

Can you give some more info? Is it a file for each island? Where are they located?

Think I found it.. Made some changes in left_column.tpl (hardcoded width instead of using the $left_width stuff (where are these values stored anyway?)
