If anyone is bored, a cut & paste "What's new" list for forum members would be handy. wink

will get one sorted over the weekend, and you can yank anise it lol to suit.

The only reason i held off was in case Rick threw a huge list out lol...

But a starter list is better than no list at all smile

Listing bot names in Who's Online is optional, right? I'd rather just have it say something like Gizmo, Ian, Mark S, 23 anonymous users, 7 bots online rather than Google , MSN (5), Twiceler , Voyager , Yahoo (94) , etc (and what's with those spaces between comas?) wink

This misformatting is still an issue in 7.3b3. And it's not clear -- will it be optional for Bots to be displayed in Who's Online? Cuz I don't want them to be... give a total like Anonymous, please. USERS don't care about Bots! wink

Yeh, I've been bringing it up at the beta site each upgrade since the official B1 wink hehe... At least the wonky formattings with the spaces before comma's and stuff ...

I've not actually looked at the ticks for bots; I'm sure it'd be easy enough to just nuke from the island if you wanted to...

Would be nice to see at the very least

Total Users (12)
just to say how many members are on line,
as the box is limited to show only a few.

Beyond me who wants to see the bots listed or guests.
Waste of space IMO

Show them as totals and Grand totals
and then bring back the "details" button.

This will get fixed before the final is out. I'm not too happy with the way it currently lists things either, so the bots might be scrapped and just a total listed. Not sure just yet.

6 Registered (Basil, Edward, Island Piper, Peter, 2 invisible), 15 Guests and 106 Spiders online.

IMO would be nicer

(Basil, Edward, Island Piper, Peter, 6 Registered, 2 invisible), 15 Guests and 106 Spiders online. Total Online 129

I would prefer not splitting guests and spiders (let logged in users click for this information):

123 Users Online:
6 Registered (Basil, Edward, Island Piper, Peter, 2 Invisible), 117 Guests.

I hope once 7.3 is out someone can post the code to do this!
Thanks to all!

In Advanced Search (which is the most confusing utility to our users):

Date Range

Maximum date range is 4 .

Not indicating what the "4" is about is very confusing. Would prefer if there was some way to simply give a choice:

--Posted Today
--Posted this Week
--Posted this Month
--Posted this Year
--Posted in (choose a list of years from inception of board until 2008).

People generally think about the oldest it could be and move forward, so the "Newer Then" before the "Older Then" can be very confusing.

hey wow! I think I've finally become something here, I see my own login referenced in a post.

And a double delight, this is my 50th post, so a number of memorable milestones for me today! grin

All in good fun, thanks for indulging.

Ive just upgraded to 7.3b4 and its fixed on mine smile

No problems to report upgrading smile
Only that one of my language files was the wrong permission
and prevented the auto update continuing but fixing that
it went sweet, and now checking for bugs.

Great work --- Love the Credit File lol

Just clicked on the Advanced Search and still see:

While I agree it should be fixed, if it isn't, you could probably just add the word "Years" to the search template. But I do like your suggestions as well.
