How do I move or remove a single post from a thread without deleting it? Is there a way to move the post to another thread?

Choose the [edit] option, and you should see the move/merge button at that point.

A single post can however take more steps. The move option moves the post PLUS the replies to that specific post. So you might have to move some posts back again after the move which were replies to that certain message.

I would love to see the new 7.3 inline moderation come to the postlist, so you could manually select posts to have just those moved to whatever location.

I had a look, but I must be missing something. I don't seem to be getting it right.
