Will we easily be able to edit a user’s post count again? Seems some people on my board like to just post like crazy to watch their post count. I would like to be able to drop their count back by a few hundred or more if possible.

Well, 7.3 has the ability to hide post counts. I don't know if this is good enough for you, though.

That would be nice although in the classic version you use to be able to change the users post count. We are running 7.2.2 and are certainly waiting for 7.3
We also have a top posters list that we want to keep so there are some that we would like to roll back.

I'm sure you could adjust a particular member's postcount via phpMyAdmin directly....

I can't wait for 7.3 cuz then all posts to my silly "Word Games" forum wouldn't count, for all those who think their post count is sooooo important to make them cool ...as opposed to actual thoughtful posts elsewhere. whistle

What helped for us was removing membertitles for number of posts. We just have one, where you reach the 100 mark.

We also dissalow any "wow we have X posts" except for the 1000 posts mark and multiples of 10,000.

phpMyAdmin > [YOUR_THREADS_DB] > ubbt_USER_PROFILE > USER_TOTAL_POSTS

Not the most elegant solution right now, but you can edit it that way per user...
