It would be very handy to be able to use a wildcard in the reg and post IP fields in the member management advanced search page.

I tried xxx.yyy.zzz.% and that didn't work. Searching for every IP in a class C is tedious when you have to do it one IP at a time!

When you show all of a users post's it would be nice to see all the IP addresses like in the classic UBB. It showed the IP address with every post in the list.

I will concur with this suggestion...seems you can only search a complete IP and not use a wild card. I usually just use PhPMyAdmin to run a query and get the same result, but it would be nice to be able to do it from CP.

Oh yeah, I tried that and a few others as well.

I think I'll use an SQL query next time and see if I can save it in the sql query section of the CP.

This is in 7.3 wink You can use the % for the wildcard. Just tried with part of your IP for the registration and last post IP to verify.

Excellent, I have v7.3b5 on a test site and had not tested there yet. But then again I only have 6 test accounts and they are all mine! laugh

Rick,

I haven't tried yet, but was wondering if 7.3 can take a regular expression input on the search line.

I suppose I can craft one up later on and test it.

you can also use the '_' underscore to wildcard a single character position 2c
