UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support User only "sees" new posts when logged out

I didn't think it was possible, but I have a member that says he only sees new posts when he is logged out of the forums.

When he logs in the last post he'll see is April 12th.

I suggested cookies, firewall etc but he insists that none of those suggestions are working for him. It just doesn't make any sense.

Ever encountered this before? We're running v7.1.1

Sounds like a caching issue, possibly ask him to delete his temporary internet files folder contents?

Clearing the browser cache did the job.

I guess what was throwing me off there was that he could see the latest posts logged out, but not while logged in. To me that would have suggested a cookie issue.

Regardless, I've filed this one away and will end up making a FYI topic on our forum for future situations.
