UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Auto Collapse on Main List Only

Here's what my main "forum list" looks like -

It is *huge*. I would like this main list to come up auto-collapsed-in so that people only saw the channel names and all the titles of the forums within each channel.

However, when they click on a specific channel on the left - for example Auto or Beauty & Self - I would want that channel page to open up expanded. I would want them to see the details of the forums in that area without having to expand them.

Can that be done? I used to do this manually with code changes, but the code has moved so I'd have to hunt it down to do that. Maybe it can be done more easily now?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for exactly but in 7.3 in Display Options -> Forum Summary, there is a Category Only toggle that will make the initial list only show the categories.
