When I upgraded to 7.3 all new users were not assigned a default group. I noticed this when a user came to me and told me he could not do anything on the board.

So it appears that my "Default Group" option for when a user signs up got cleared out some how.

So my question is how can I find all the users who are not assigned to a group because you cannot search for them in the Control Panel "Member Management" area.

Thank you!

I am not sure of any SQL command of the top of my head - but it will only have affected new users.

Therefore go through each new user since you upgraded from the userlist and manually check.

Depending upon how many you have this might be as quick as waiting wink

Yeh, we've been reporting this to Rick on the private board for a while now, I'm not sure why it didn't make it into final...

To be honest this is a showstopper and really needs an update to the download.

I have not updated my public site but in testing in my private site this function looks to be working and is assigning a group to mew registered users.

I'm not exactly sure on a fix for this yet since on every upgrade I've done the default group is checked properly. Still trying to figure out why it's only happening on some upgrades.
