UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Upgrade causing DB errors everywhere

I have just started to upgrade and I am getting DB errors everywhere, not just with the wwwthreads DB. Even phpMyAdmin is giving errors after running the install.php.

Warning: mysql_db_query is deprecated; use mysql_select_db() and mysql_query() instead

What has this script done?

Those are warnings. Those show at the top of the page I assume and then everything below them is ok. Correct?
In php.ini shut of warnings and errors.

You are right, the warnings are not that big a problem. After looking into this for a while what seems to be the problem is that scripts that once worked are not not working because they are saying no DB selected. Most my scripts use their own version of a file named dblib.php which is referenced and stored in a different place than the one for UBBThreads. It has worked for years but today has stopped working after installing the latest UBBThrerads. ANy thought or suggestions would be appreciated.
