I just thought I would post a hint for anyone who encounters an issue I just faced and is using the "search" function on this forum.

I just changed servers which resulted in my Captcha images used in the registration area not working. I needed to install Image Magick to make it work again. I used Gizmo's FAQ on GD and Image Magick and ran into a problem when I tried to install the binary - it would not install as it needed 14 dependencies in addition to the binary.

I found that all I needed to do to download and install ImageMagick including all of the dependencies on a Red Hat or Fedora server was use the shell to enter "yum install ImageMagick"

Badda Boom! Done - and working

Yeh, a lot of OS' have auto installers, yum is the one used by RH/Fedora/CentOS (RH Varients); there is also Emerge and Portage on some other distributions.

Ideally, RH OS' are easy to upgrade with access to yum; but not everyone will have this luxury.
