In order to use php my server requires that the extensions are .php3

This means that I have to change every call within every file from calling php files to calling php3 files.

What I have been doing is opening each and every file and doing a global search and replace. That doesn't seem to be a huge problem but it is time consuming.

I also have to change the extension on each file to php3

Does anyone have any fast and easy ways to do this with a program that does batch commands? Maybe a command from Telnet for changing the extension themselves?

I'm using HomeSite but it doesn't have a batch command that will automate this for me.

Thanks for any and all help!
