I'm back "home" in Wisconsin for the week, and I'm trying to help my aunt set up Yahoo Messenger on her computer with a Vista operating system.
We were trying to download Yahoo Messenger for her computer, and it seemed "stuck" ... so, my question is simple: Is Yahoo Messenger & Vista compatible?
Thanks!
~Sue

Initially no, but I believe the latest build SHOULD work in vista

I don't know I use a Mac, but... Hi Sue! Hey right back atcha, David! --- Unfortunately, my aunt is even more computer-illiterate than I am, so unless it's an easy fix, there's no fix for her! In addition, the only people she chats with would be my dad and her sisters, and they are at the same level as she is--computer-illiterate! (But, given their ages, I'm as proud as heck that they've embraced the computer and Internet as much as they have!) Now I have another situation ... but it will be for another topic. ~Sue adwoff.com

Well, if you install Pidgin for her (or trillian) she can use one client for AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, ICQ, MSN, etc...
