Any idea what makes an image show up like this? (Lack of showing up I should say). Heres a link to the ImG Gallery here. I posted a pic and it wouldn't post. It's doing the same thing on my site from time to time. I'm having members ask what is happening. Any ideas?

Maybe the space in the file name? Rename the file and try re-uploading.

In the case I liseted above there was a space involved. However, on my site alot of the photo names have no spaces so I'm guessing thats not it.

Can you try re-naming and uploading here. Something must not be right with the file name as there are successful uploads in the gallery here.

Besides spaces, it could be non-alpha/numerical characters in the file names that are causing the issue you are seeing on your site.

Does file size have anything to do with it?

I don't have a clue....I've messed with it all day trying different "Test" post to my site. One minute they'll post the next they won't. It's not giving any errors just merely showing the name of the photo like the link I provided above.

Ok, heres the deal. For whatever reason if I resize the photo through photobucket to 640x480 right click and save it back to my computer it will post. The photo was 2.47MB in size (originally)....rather than giving an error it just post the title and doesn't allow the photo to go through. Just for grins and giggles I bumped the allowed size up in my permissions to 3mb. Sure enough, another photo I was trying to load earlier went right through. Its size was also 2.47mb. Wonder why it's not giving an error that the file is too large? Before my permissions were set properly it was giving an error saying that the file could not be larger than bytes. (Although it didnt give a specific number). It obviously has nothing to do with numerical/non-alpha characters being in the title. Is this a bug?

Same thing happened here. I did a post in the img gallery. The first photo that shows the title but doesnt not appear is the originally 2.47mb file. The one that does appear after you click on the post is the resized 640x480 file. The only difference in the two files is that the "JPG" is lowercase on one and uppercase on the other. Heres the link.

You might want to check the upload_max_filesize in your php.ini file if this is your server. If that's smaller than the file that is being uploaded it will fail. And the way PHP fails at that point, we can't catch it to give the user an error message (still working on that).
