Has anyone else noticed a marked increase in how busy MYSQL is since upgrading?

I've noticed that MySQL is running at 70-90% a lot of the time since upgrade?

i agree that its not easy for many reasons. chief of which: mysql on windows, comes out of the box with a configuration that renames all the tables in lower case.

so when transferring over to *nix, all queries fail because of *nix caring about case sensitivity.

ideally, if all tables were lower case to begin with -- it wouldn't be a problem... and being a selfish / lazy programmer, i find it a pain in the ass to hold down the SHIFT key when i'm coding to type in the table and field names!

but that ain't gonna happen laugh

Once you have went to Linux or Unix web servers I don't think you would ever want to go back. So much faster and many more issues I cant even think to go into at this time, lol.
