Hi

I hav finally installed 7.3.1 and imported from classic and all was fine BUT.

while testing some features I wrote one word "TESTING" in following field.

Body Onload
This will be put in the 'body onload' tag
It was in CP - General- HTML sction
I submitted and next thing was that all fields/forms
in the "CP - General - Primary/Date&Time/HTML blanked out.

This is a pain. How can I upload at least the defalt values in
those fields? I have no clue for example what to put into the
Search Engine Agents field or most of the blanked fields.

PLEASE help or direct me where to go - can I re upload a file from the unzipped directories? and Why the CP could blank out the fields/forms just because I type one word in the
"Body Onload" field

Blimey, I could catch some of the values by simply click in the form fields and they appeared from the PC cashe/fields memory. Very good.

However I still need following default values

In UBBClassic there was a "Require Users to Log In Before Posting? " I never used that as it was handy that one could browse topics and reply and login in the same process. Can this be done in UBBThreads too?
I have not found that feature

This is a permissions issue.

Goto...

admin CP >> Permissions >> Forum Permissions

Select the forum you want to edit and then

Can see forum [+]
(You'd probably want everyone set to '1')

Can read topics [+]
(You'd probably want everyone set to '1')

Can create new topics [+]
Maybe you'd want...
Users=1 Guests=0

etc etc

Now that I've typed all that, I realise that's it's not what you're looking for, is it?

You still want to be able to see all the threads and ALSO the 'Post Reply' button, is that right?

Yes I would like that, Because members having a problem with staying login, they keep being logged out. and for the fact if one is just browsing without being login then you just hit reply button and can lgin in the same process... is this possible???

Hmmm, this strikes me as the symptom that needs to be addressed first.

Yes I know I need to fix that login issue therefore I did create a thread about it.
Still I like and also our members like to be able to login and reply in same process. Would that be possible????
