I need to send forum generated email directly from UBB to google apps so it can be relayed to the outside world by google.

I have read some class.phpmailer.php threads, but there just isn't a clear how-to on making this work with SMTP via SSL.

Can someone point me to a how-to?

You are trying to send an email to google apps? Or to other people from an email using google apps?
