When I try to upload a picture using the Image manager, I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: resize_image_() in /home/content/c/l/a/clg/html/forums/libs/image.inc.php on line 66

I suspect it has to do with GD2, but I am running PHP 4.x on my server, so GD2 should be installed by default, right?

Any help appreciated.

Is it a gallery image or a image in a forum post?

Check the folder permissions to make sure the folder is writable, CHMOD 777.

Just go into the gallery section of the control panel, verify the settings, and submit that page. Until you choose and submit the gallery settings page it doesn't know what image library it should be using. That will also tell you if gd2 is available.

I had checked both the folder permissions and the settings in the gallery section of the control panel when I made this post.

I've changed nothing, but now it is working for some mysterious reason.

Maybe I had older settings cached and not refreshed as I was trying it out the first time... I'll keep experimenting and try to recreate the problem. If I can't then I guess I am good to go.

Another semi-related thing I was wondering about; I originally wanted a gallery to quickly store various GIFs I can use as signature files, avatars etc on other boards and sites, but I don't see a linkable path to these files anywhere?
