UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Is it the server or the database?

I'm having trouble with my forum. I have no idea how to determine if the problem is related to the server or if the database or other component is corrupted.

It is very slow to load and sometimes I get a "database error" message. If I refresh, the error message goes away, but it's still very slow to load.

How do I determine what is wrong and, if it's the forum software, how do I fix it?

Well, the webserver is slow; as the script loads on the server, it's not going to be the forum...

I didn't think so, but I had to ask.

That's what I saw on the site, so that looks like both a slow web server and a slow mysql server.
