Hi,

A user has created an image gallery and wants to share about 160 pictures. He went through the hassle of uploading them one by one, and it took hem 2 hours to upload. Is there any option / feature that speeds up this process?

Also is there a way to view the next image, becaus the gallery now is a little hard to view (scrolling down for the next picture, and scrolling back to see it.)

Well, once we get a framework in place for the UI update; I'm sure the upload process as well as viewing process will be much faster and smoother as there will be AJAX in place

Isn't there any way to upload a bunch of images to a directory and then let them process by the admin, on the Control Panel? Same like coppermine does it?

You can do that with things such as avatars. But a gallery is a forum that is looking for a post just like any other forum.
I am not aware of any shortcut currently.

Maybe this should be a feature request then?

Well I won't go searching for it right now but this has been discussed a few times already and recently in another post too. Think most of us agree that we would like to see another option or method for doing more uploads at one time.
