Hi
I run 7.3.1 and my birthday is Nov 6, on that day I received 6 birthday messages and on next day I received 9 messages.
this was on my own forum.
Just wanted to let you know.

Sorry havent been here for a while, They came within one o hour about 5 minutes in between. My email setting is to look for new emails ea 5 min.

I'm running 7.4.1, and just got a member report that he received 7 birthday emails from my site.
I asked him to forward them to me but he had deleted them.
Just FYI -- this is the first time I've had a complaint.

If anyone has this and can get copies of the emails with the headers that would help a lot. Would like to see if they are coming out of the same batch, or just being sent multiple times.

I just got back from lunch, and I've been contacted by six more very upset members about the birthday emails. I turned off the feature on my board.
All the users who have contacted me have been pretty hostile. I have asked for emails w/headers, but I'm not holding my breath on it.

lol @ members getting hostile over too many email messages.. especially an honest mistake...
some peeps need to lighten up and realize it's not THAT huge of a deal.. and can be fixed..
