cp>>Member Management. Build a list of members. Then the action option will appear. At the bottom of the page are your options.
Then just select what you want to do and pick All Members or Selected Members? option When you click on perform selected option. You will have several options on how you want to use the email list.

PERFECT! I first did a Search for the "user group", saved the search and used the "Select ALL" option. Then followed through with your instructions and all worked great.
