I am running 7.4.2 and have set my staff forums to be able to be viewed by administrators, global mods and mods. However, despite having been made moderators of the staff forums, and having the correct permissions, neither of my moderators are able to view the staff forums.

Moderator access for the forums is set to '1' in the cp...I am not sure what the hell is going on. Anyone able to help?

PS - if this is in the wrong forum...please move it so someone can help me! smile

Also set Can read topics 1, for them to be able to see the topics, also set can reply topics 1 (if you want them to be able to reply). As it seems you have it set now where they can just see that the forum is there, not necessarily what is posted within them.

There are a few posts on this subject.
Basicly a moderator is only a moderator of the forum that person is assigned to.

HERE is one post on a resolution
