Since we have upgraded to 7.4 + ( With the new Permissions )
I'm getting SQL errors, i never had a single one previously.
So i'm not understanding the English terms for

Table 'p' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

What do i have to do?
Or Should i do anything?

This is the 4th Table 'p' is marked as crashed and should be repaired error this year. (Not many) but wary of losing data.

I have reported back to me from moderators that 1 or 2 topics have gone missing, but i cant prove it, but its something i'm watching.

So what do i do ? ( Thanks in advance )
Any idea's what could be causing it or is it just one of them things ?

Table p is your posts table. Crashes can be cause by many things: hardware, memory, writes to a large table during a MySQL crash, loss of power, etc. Is this your own server or a hosted server? I'd see if you can find out how long the MySQL process has been running. Usually, the primarly culprit for crashed tables is MySQL crashing when something is trying to write to a table.

Its dedicated server where i have to work out the problems.

I re-start the sql every night at 4am

So even though it says

should i log into php admin and repair any tables ?

If it's still giving that same error then yes. You'll want to close your forums and then repair the ubbt_POSTS table.

I will repair that table at the end of the week,
like i say its not major that i can see.

But there's no smoke without fire.

lol.. if you have a crashed ubbt_POSTS table, i'd think you'd want that repaired asap.. that could be dire, if not repaired

The post table would seem major, to me

Meh... it's a luxury table we can do without.
