On this forums running B1 & B2

I know there was a tread running about a unusual Bar.
But this is happeing far too oftern for me to ignore.

I'm viewing these forums in IE 6
I'm Seeing these corrupt posts almost all the time?
But Not Always?

It may be because.....
I have been using View My Posts to visit older Topics,
and is upon getting to that URL some of the
Topics become corrupt.

ubb tags all over??

I havent experienced it on my own install,
but thats a small test forum with 5 users.

This is what i'm seeing.

2 of my post and 1 of another user.

The oddbar thread had dissapeared, i had made a post that the issue wasn't fixed (anddiscovered that at times your sig can appear in the large image scrollbars) but it vanished after that, i think it got moved :/

When i go via My Space My Posts and the URL looks like this.


But if i click on the post icon, (first post note pad icon)
the URL changes to

And then the page displays as normal.

Well that's funny,
ive uploaded a txt file of source code.
Click on it and you see a forums http output,
and not a text files content.

Check the url once you click on the Attachment,
it is the source code.txt

Anyways from there i guess you will
have to view source

Can anyone else reproduce the Corrupt posts?

Go via My Space,
My Posts

Click on a link and scroll down.
you may see 1 or 2 corrupt.

I can reproduce this by seaching for something, clicking a post link, then changing the Words parameter in the url to "img"

Definitely a search related bug, especially if you're seeing it from the My Posts link. Will work on tracking that one.

just a note,
i havent reproduced this on my test forum as of yet.
Its only on your forums.

My test forum isnt very big.
Its still a little embrio...

Maybe some one could confirm that they can reproduce
it on there test forums to help you out.

It's a problem with the regex trying to bold the words being searched for, even viewing your own posts runs through the search engine. For now, I'm just going to disable the bolding until I can figure out the proper regex to make it ignore anything inside of an html tag.
