UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support errors...

I get the below errors when I try to run the latest version (I'm migrating from Perl).

For the record: I was getting the same errors previously, and I asked the server admins to recompile php with mysql... which they just did. Could it be that I need to "restart" in some way? Sorry, I'm don't know anything about PHP.

Looks like you are getting the language problem, note the // in the last error line. Couple things to check, make sure you have a default language in the config file. Secondly, try closing your browser and deleting all cookies and trying again. This happens to a few people on different servers so I'm totally changing this section for the next release.

Language is specified... I tried to change it with no impact.

Same with cookies, and I tried accessing with another browser too.

Any suggestions / workarounds?

Ok, this ended up being nothing like what I thought it was. Basically the $thispath variable in main.inc.php had a couple of spaces before the actual path like ' /path/to/ubbthreads';

Apparently this made php choke like it couldn't find the files. So, I removed the leading space and it works ok now.

I did not find a solution.
