Two questions: Is there a restriction on either how many foums can be on a board or the length of the forum ID? (ie. would "3042" be a legitimate id?
Also, how deep can parent replationships go? I want to set up the relatships as follows: CATEGORY - Subject - Secondary Subject - Region.
It doesn't seem to be working. Any thoughts?

I assume you're talking about forums within forums, etc... Myself I've only used them 4 levels deep (as I hadn't had needs for otherwise) without any problems

I went 4 as well. Also doing mass forum creation via Sql upload. Makes things very quick, but it's a bit goofy on the back-end.

FORUM_ID is an int(9), so you'll never hit that limit.. where you will eventually hit a limit is in the admin control panel and the amount of data that will need to be $_POST'ed
pagination might need to be implemented at that point.
