UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums Resources and Customizing How Do I? Image in place of user title

I have noticed on many forums regardless of the software that some members, Admins, Mods and Sponsors sometimes have images indicating that persons special involvement in that community. How do "you" place an image there?

Custom title can be editted to something like


and it will display an image..

but if you are asking about 'other software' ? it is prolly done in many differing ways..

Well, I wouldn't dream of running anything but UBB now could I?

But I do have one problem, I cant read the text in the Html box. All I see is the box and a horizontal scrollbar.

use firefox for now, since there are IE issues with html, code, php boxes

or just quick quote my post and see what's there for the real quicky looksee..

Yeah, I used the ol quote trick... looks like you simply enter an html image tag in the custom title field. I was hoping it was that simple.

Cool! I made up some images and entered the HTML in the profiles and it worked just dandy!

I use graphics for my ranks so I went ahead and changed the template file to include the path to the rank images and then just stored the file name in the database instead of the whole URL; no use repeating the same information over and over again when you can just set it in one place.

It makes my Karma scripts smaller and simpler, too, since they only have to set the file name when they carry out automated promotions.
