I am now ready to upgrade and want to know a few things
1. Is there a subscription script? If it is not there what happened and if it is there which payment forms can be used?
1.A How do other Webmasters using UNNcentral manage or set up paid subscriptions to work in an automatic way...
2. I like to restrict new user PM priviledges till they make 50 posts. Can I do this with what is available or do I need a modification?
3. I like new users to be "read only" for a few days. Can users start in one group and moved to another in an automatic way after 5 days?
4. Do filters and censoring work in PM's?
5. What is the best way/software to ad rotating banners?
6. Can I send mass PM's to all users, or certain groups? I really hate to send mass emails due to Spam complains.
Thank you

2. Control Panel » Group Management » Site Permissions > Set Total # of private topics allowed to 0 (zero) to disable the PM function. So users with 0 - 50 post give them a group, automatically asign them to another if they post more than 50, gve the 50 + group permissions to store 50 messages or so.
4. Yes
5. Add a few lines yourself in "Control Panel » Display Options » General > HTML includes Default header. Find a piece of PHP source to do so.
6. Yes
Other questions can be answered by others.

3. see #2

5. PHPAds New; however this would include setting it up adn some people find it difficult.

#5 I had used PHPadsnew (Free) and found it "ok" but too many bells and whistles for my needs. I then bought "ADPEEPS" and love it. Very simple, easy to understand interface and lots of useful options. For what its worth.

You can send mass emails through the control panel. But PM's no, they are on a individual basis.

If mass Pm's are standard I will learn something today. But in any case you could try a demo setup here so you can see for yourself.

Rob I was hoping you were correct. That would be a nice feature. It seems it could be added in the same area as mass emails just add PM's to the selection list. Of course some other background changes would be needed.

There is a hack to do that and it was really nice
A new mod is needed and it should make the PM's sent expire after a few days... to keep the database small... It should be a standard feature. Nobody like to get emailsm many complain to the host, and most email addresses in the user account are fake, disposable, or used only to registed

The only way I see with stock code to move from read only groups to read/write groups is manual.
But WTH I have been wrong before!

You can't, with the code how it is now, have users read only for a set period of days; you can restrict their group to posting in specific areas until a postcount of [some random arbitrary number] is met which would upgrade their group settings.
