Is there anyway to remove the checkbox that says "Mark as Edited" but still allow members to edit post? I know for a FACT that some folks have edited what they've said but they're not showing that the post has been edited. Any help would be appreciated. I don't mind them editing their post but it would be nice to force a label that says it's been edited without relying on the member to check that box.

Well, you'd edit the editpost.tpl file; you should just be able to change this:

That SHOULD always set the value to "mark as edited". Please note that this is an unsupported (and untested) modification.
