When you add an image and choose it to center, it's not centered. Although the HTML has the "align=center" tag, you would expect that this option would put the image in the "horizontal-center" of the post. Well it doesn't:

Img inside an image tag. Realy weird.

Centered image:
[Linked Image from ricochetbond.nl]

It's just at the left.

Yep, definitely a bug. On img tags the attribute align="center" does not actually centre an inline image within an area, it would have to be put inside a block element.

ie. <h1 align="center"><img src="example.gif"></h1>

Anyway, all this is deprecated in html 4 onwards and using css would be a much better method for the future. Maybe the UBB version 8 rewrite will update this.

center in the image tag is for text alignment and not centering the image in the page; you'd use align to align the image...

Ah, in that case Gizmo it works as intended.

I see the examples you give ARE wrapped in a block element (a <div> in this case) which is fine.
