Microsoft stole the technology for preventing users from stealing its technology

Microsoft used software activation without a license, jury finds

Irony and Microsoft continue to go hand-in-hand, as a Rhode Island jury finds Microsoft's software activation scheme violated a much smaller company's patent

Microsoft has been ripping off people's software for many years. They use their very large corporate muscle to intimidate and destroy anyone who gets in their way.

I'm glad that they got caught stealing software and a jury was not swayed into letting Microsoft get away with it.

Like I have stated more then once in here. They time of the mighty and powerful corporations is coming to an end. The small businesses will be able to once again compete and make a living with out being destroyed for trying.

Yeah what ever, corporations do not sit on juries. The people do that are tired of the corporations. I take it your not one of those who are getting tired of corporations Allen.

hehe, no. I am a very small biz fighting a huge corporation right now.

My post was about the grandiose statement you made - I am not naieve enough to think I don't have a huge up hill battle ahead of me just because someone got a little punch in on M$. MS could appeal and hold the verdict up for many years if they chose to do so. This case is not the precedent for small business your post was making it out to be. There's 1k+ wins for the big boys for every one for the little guy. The justice system works for those with deep pockets who can litigate little guys out of existence.
