Hi all. We have a test version 7 board running and I was trying the RSS feed for one of the forums and received this error message: XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity Location: http://www.kickas.org/ubbthreads_v7_jb/cache/rss1.xmlLine Number 2, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?> ^ That error message was through Mozilla and IE8 just said it "cannot display this feed". Just wondering if this has been seen in 7.5.2 as we are going to upgrade very soon. Thanks very much

I don't use IE8 so I can't say. But I have no issues with IE7 and ubb 7.5.2 using the My Feeds for RSS.

I don't want to upgrade to ie8 at this time but I noticed with chrome I don't get a error but just html code if you want to call it that. Kinda like if you use the view source option in a browser.

It's because line 1 is a blank line, and line 2 holds the xml open tag... according to the spec, the xmlopen tag has to be line 1... This is fixed as of like 7.2... You shouldn't really post bug reports on a version that's over a year old, at least without hunting things down in the changelog first

I did search but didn't go back far enough. Now I see the post where it was addressed when I used 4 years in advanced. Sorry about that, my fault.
Thanks.
