Just wondering if there is any place that posts features that will be added in future releases of threads.

Yeh, if it's in the changelog it's public information; v8 information, as it's a ways off, is generally preparatory information until the release is closer (no point to spilling the beans to competing solutions; or to promise one thing and have it have to be held back)

I'll probably be doing some notes within a few weeks for version 8. We're working on the control panel first so once we have our control panel layout finalized we'll probably have a few screenshots posted as well.
