UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Post Islands with Thread Snippet

Hi, I'm trying to create a post-island that I can integrate on other pages of my site (our forums are just one "section"). I want this post island to show the 10 recently active topics like it currently does, however, I'd also like it to show the first few sentences of each post to sort of entice the reader to click into the forums.

Has anyone developed this or figured out how to configure it? I can't seem to figure it out in the control panel, and my programming skills are only beginner to intermediate so I'm sort of hesitant to attempt it myself.

You could go another route and use RSS feeds in your pages.
