Does anyone know which files have the wrong permissions? When clicking on "Watched Forums", "Watched Topics", and "Watched Users" under My Stuff - a permission denied error is received.
I am still using version 7.4.1

It looks like the problem is a double slash in the url - "myhome/tab/topics/type//sort/.html"
Does anyone know which file needs to be edited?

The double slash is ok, it happens here as well. The 403 could be something else as that's a Forbidden error. Do you happen to have mod_security enabled? That's a common culprit for that error with forums.

Mod_security should not be enabled unless the host enabled it without my knowing. Is there an easy way for me to find this out?
The reason I thought the double slash may be the problem is that the urls work fine if I take out the extra slash.

I found the problem. I had made a change in the .htaccess file a couple of months ago. I have been very aggressive in blocking hackers and spammers and in trying to reduce error messages in the error log. Once of the changes I made generated the 403 error with the double slash. My bad

Just an FYI, most hosts that run mod_security don't alert their users OR take responsibility for it... They usually just blaime script providers as a canned response

"It's always the script providers fault"... lol
I used to work for a webhost, and had to learn the inner workings of mod_security, then found out a lot of hosts use it, but refuse to work with clients on it...
It's until you start forcing them to look at the mod_security log that they'll start actually making attempts, if they care that is...
