It would be helpful if the advanced search had an option to limit the results to the Topic, without all the replies.

We have some pretty large threads, requiring users to slog through pages of replies in a search result trying to find the next topic / Subject.

You mean like it did in classic.
I am all for it.
Just list the topic, Not every topic and reply.
So if you open the topic the search term is highlighted in each reply.
When you have a topic with 100 reply's and almost every reply has the search term it gets quite confusing going through each result from the search. You loose track if you looked at a post already.

I also would like to see the search date range enhanced. To confusing for me!
Newer than ,Older than. It just does not seem to work correctly.

I usually blank out the default newer than 1 week and start from there anyway.
