We have a group of members that are 'Staff' (which have their own color). How can I add 'Staff to the key under the Who's online island?
Thanks.

Well, you'd simply add additional code In: templates/default/island_whos_online.tpl After: <span class="modname"><?php echo $ubbt_lang['MOD_NAME'] ?></span>

Thanks for the reply, Gizmo.
It doesn't show after I added this: <span class="staffname"><?php echo $ubbt_lang['STAFF_NAME'] ?></span>
Maybe because I just added the Staff in group management? I added the color individially to each person's name - not through 'styles'.

Also did you add STAFF_NAME to the language file. If the language file does not have a STAFF_NAME field there will be nothing to display. I believe it is in portal_islands.php And if you are using a class to define color ,then you would need to add the class to the style

Thank you for the response, gliderdad and Ruben.
How do I add the class to the style? I can't find Misc properties edit.

you know, it is just for you, so all you really have to do is: <span class="staffname">Staff</span> Then just go into your style and add a custom code (see the last option of the style editor: .staffname {
color: #000000;
} The color code will be whatever hex code you're using for your staff color.

Thanks, Gizmo.
I have Staff showing and I have added the hex code (as above post) at Extra properties in Styles but the color is still white.

Just to add to the PM that the color that I placed for Staff is #0099FF. OMG - the color changed to blue. I'm sorry to bother you but I did the clear cache while waiting. Wow - Thanks, Gizmo, Ruben and gliderdad.

Always a good habit to clear cache if you want to see if the changes are applied when modifying those types of files

Use the language editor under 'display Options' in the admin CP. Search for the phrase you want, I think it's in generic.php
