This is somewhat a bug, but also a misconfiguration issue. On my board I had the folder for uploading atachments and uploading profile images set to the same folder. I thought this was handy and shouldn't be an issue. But what actually happend was that people ataching images to a subject, would than sometime overwrite someone's profile picture.
I think the boards configuration should check if the attachement / upload folders are set to the same and if so, don't allow this setting to be made, to avoid this kind of weird behaviour.
