I have version 7.5.3. When looking at the "User List", no avatars are displayed.
A friend of mine has a forum that's version 6, I believe, and when looking at the "User List", there's a column on the far left of said list that is titled "Picture", and it displays the user's avatar next to their name.
My question is this: Is there a way to have that in version 7? And if so, how might I go about doing that?

it's just not a feature built into v7; I've been requesting it since v7 was in alpha

Would be a pretty easy mod to do, not sure if it's been done at ubbdev.com yet or not.
This will make a return for v8.

i had hacked it into my forum at one point, but never documented it and it got removed in an upgrade ...
